How It Works:

Registration
Registration is a simple process which requires taxpayers to create an account and file applications for the parcels for which they would like an Electronic Property Tax Notice.

Confirmation
A confirmation email will be sent 30 days prior to sending the Electronic Property Tax Notice. Within the confirmation email, taxpayers must confirm that their email address and parcel number(s) are current, and that they would still like to receive an Electronic Property Tax Notice(s).

Delivery
Electronic Property Tax Notices are considered to be delivered when the taxpayer has opened the email and has viewed the tax notice(s). If a response to the e-notice indicates the email was unopened or returned as undeliverable, a hard copy of the tax notice will be mailed. As specified by Florida law, the original electronic transmission is the official mailing and a discount period will not be extended due to the electronic tax notice being unopened or returned.

 FAQS

Any property owner who has given consent to receive their tax notice via email.

My property is in joint ownership. Do all parties have to sign up?
No. An owner or their authorized representative may enroll.

Can I pay online?
Yes, you can pay via e-check or credit / debit card. A pass-through vendor fee will apply. Please see Online Payment Information  on our website for more information.

I just received a message asking me to re-authorize my choice for electronic tax notices. Why?
After you initially sign up to receive the tax notice, each year you will be required to re-authorize your choice prior to the tax notice mailing deadline. This is a security feature designed to make sure that tax notices go to a valid email address every year. Approximately 30 days prior to the general mailing date, you will receive an email asking you to verify that you still wish to receive electronic tax notices. If you do not verify, your parcel number will be pulled from the email list and you will once again receive paper tax notices through the mail.

I signed up to receive electronic tax notices, but I did not receive one this year. What happened?
First, please check to make sure that you confirmed your choice by clicking on the link supplied to you when you initially signed up, and that you re-authorized your choice prior to the mailing date. If you did confirm, then check your spam or junk mail folder to make sure that the tax notice did not arrive there. It is important to note that any late payment penalties cannot be waived for failure to pay on time, if records indicate that an electronic tax notice was successfully sent to your email address; therefore, if you do not receive a tax notice within 48 hours of the mailing date, please contact our office for further instructions.

Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, please contact us by phone or letter.
