If I live in another county, why did my tag come from Pasco? |

| Renewal notices are printed several months in advance by the Division of Motor Vehicles and mailed out in bulk to local Tax Collector offices. Generally, they are
sent according to the zip codes that fall within each county. Sometimes individuals have a "dual" zip code which covers two different counties. For example, there are zip codes in Lutz that cover both Pasco and Hillsborough counties.
In cases like this, you may receive a renewal from Pasco instead of the county you live in. |

or you may renew your tag by mail or in person at any Pasco County Tax Collector office. |
