Saltwater Fishing License Information

Purchasing A Saltwater Fishing License

Licenses may be purchased at any Tax Collector Office; Wal-Mart; some sporting goods outlets; or from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission at 888-486-8356, or myfwc.com. Personal identification is required.

A lost or destroyed license may be replaced at any of our offices. Personal identification is required.

Florida residents may purchase a Gold Sportsman's License which includes hunting, fresh/saltwater fishing, management area permit, archery, muzzleloading, turkey, waterfowl, snook and crawfish.

Florida residents may purchase Combination Licenses which includes freshwater/saltwater fishing or freshwater/saltwater fishing and hunting.

Lifetime or Five-Year Hunting and Fishing License Applications are available at Tax Collector offices, online at myfwc.com, or by phone at 1-888-486-8356 to Florida residents who are age 16 or older and who have a valid Florida Driver license. For persons who do not meet this criteria, Hunting and Fishing License Applications are available only at Tax Collector's offices

Effective August 1, 2009, Florida's saltwater anglers who fish from shore or a structure affixed to shore must possess a Shoreline Saltwater Fishing License. If you have a Resident Recreational Saltwater Fishing License, you do not need to purchase a Shoreline Fishing License.
